Franklin Youth Girls Basketball Association (FYGBA) is a youth basketball program for girls who live in Franklin or attend school in the Franklin School District.  We strive to offer a program that develops foundational basketball skills in female athletes (grades 4-8).  In addition, we aim to create an environment that fosters friendships and a lifetime of positive memories. 

Serving as a feeder system for the Franklin Girls High School Basketball program, our organization works in coordination with the high school varsity coaches to teach the skills, language, concepts, and systems that will prepare young players to be ready for the high school level.

While our program does seek to develop strong players who can be successful at high levels of competition, we do prioritize the key fundamental concepts of skill development, player growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  It is important that players and families feel like they are learning the game of basketball, and that their time playing is a positive experience.
